Taken from the manual itself, I think this is a huge improvement over the current one- a revolver with a wooden handle. Seriously?

Nice, Blox. But the grip shouldn't be 90 degrees. That would be an uncomfortable pistol to use. :X

The grip of the pistol should not form a 90 degree angle with the barrel. Most pistols are about 110 to 115.

Then it's a resolution restriction. If I pull that in by a pixel, it's going to be really uneven.

Not too bad, but still kinda weird.

I don't really like this change... It is a nice sprite, but you should make own weapon for it.

For the best compatibility with zdoom, you should ask the (feature suggestions) for this implementation before posting here.
Whenever the sprite will be implemented in zdoom repository, update this thread with the zdoom svn revision containing the addition.

I didn't even know ZD had ST's pistol sprite.
After having the current one for over a decade I've grown to "revolver with a wooden handle".

The current sprite looks more like plastic to me, not wood.
