I can't use a mouse for Skulltag. "Everybody else" moves forward and backward quicker than me. Players also rotate left or right quicker than I can. I can't aim accurately on the left/right axis as using the keyboard's <Left-Arrow> or <Right-Arrow> keys rotates my aim by a fairly large number of degrees. I can aim somewhere close to where I want to shoot, but usually I shoot left or right of the target.
The Skulltag configuration settings allow mouse movement controls to be adjusted. There are no similar adjustments for keyboard movement controls.
A couple of years ago, I found a parameter in my Skulltag's ini file which I changed to allow my rotation angle to aim more accurately. My keyboard's <Left-Arrow> or <Right-Arrow> keys rotated my aim by smaller angles. I can't find this parameter in the current ini file.
So Skulltag keyboard players are fightiing with one arm tied behind their backs. Can't run, turn or aim as well as mouse users.
Is there a solution for keyboard Skulltag users? Suggesting using a mouse is certainly a solution, but is of no use to me.

use left and right to strafe. they also probably have run on always.also to aim fast change mouse sensitivity. (thought anything mouse related i don't know if it will mater using keys then?)

Mouse sensitivity does not affect keyboard turning. Use the turnspeeds CCMD for that. Lower values turn slower.
I also recommend you use one hand for moving/strafing and the other for turning/firing, if you don't already.

turnspeeds! That was the command I used and forgot. The default turnspeeds were 640 1280 320 320. I changed them to see the effect of each. I can't see what the first and last values do. With the second value at default 1280, I could rotate 10 times in about 16 seconds. It also made me dizzy. Changing 1280 to 1900 allowed me to rotate 10 times in about 11 seconds. And made me dizzier.
Changing the third value from 320 to 100 changed the amount of rotation (with a quick stab of the left/right keys) to a smaller angle. That means I can now aim more accurately in the horizontal axis at a target instead of somewhere vaguely near.
As the turnspeeds command isn't saved to the ini file, I have bound the commands to keys.
All I need now is a means of going faster when using the forwards or backwards keys.

It would be sensible for new versions of Skulltag to cater for players using only the keyboard as well as those using a mouse. Perhaps it would address diversity problems? Not racism, sexism or ageism. Keyboardism? Discrimination against players who can only use or choose to use a keyboard.

Skulltag already goes a long way in making it easier for keyboarders than it was in the past. In vanilla, you couldn't even rebind your keys. Now there's turnspeeds, that instant 180-degree turn bind, and of course autoaim is still there for the most part. How is there discrimination against keyboarders?

Speed of movement forwards and backwards. There are options for mouse speed. There are none for equivalent keyboard users.

Qent: Turbo only goes up to ~100 before you get kicked from the server. Omega2: Is cl_run true? If it is, that's as good as it gets. I haven't seen any mouse player go faster than a keyboard player. If they are, it's because of sr40 or sr50, and both of them can be done on a keyboard.

Oh right I'm dumb. I thought he wanted to go slower for some reason. :/

yes, cl_run = true. About every player is faster than I am. They overtake me easily if we run in the same direction.

Strafing and running at the same time on an angle will give you a speed boost. Also so does jumping.
