So far, I played only 3, 4 and 5. They are all great. Had a good time playing them

FF8 is really interesting

And I'm surprised quite a few mentioned 2 as one of their favorites I think it had the shittiest last boss The Emporer and the storyline wasn't to shabby.

Thumbs up to those who favor 9 and 4 over all.

4 was the best IMO. The story rocked, the characters rocked, and the first time I played it through I had never seen so many main characters die. I loved how FF9 brought back the oldschool feel by bringing back the crystals and bringing back Knights and Kingdoms. I also loved that they brought the 4 party members in battle system. The black mages served an AWESOME purpose in this game and I found Vivi and Zidane to be some of the most interesting FF characters today. Also FF6 and 8 rocked

NES version of 3 is my fav. 8, 10-2, 11, and 12 sucked balls. 4, 5, and 7 are OK but not GODLY.

6 = BEST. EVER. NO EXCEPTIONS.
5, 4, 9 = Very guud
1, 2, 3 = alright for the time, considering these were NES games
8, 10 = Did not like them, also AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH
7 amazingly was the first one I played, yet now after playing much if the others I've come to realize that this game are sick (and not in the good way)
I haven't played 12 nor 13 and 11 is an MMO (no, just no). 13 from what I've seen just denigrates FF further down into the abyss, seeing it's EXTREMELY Linear gameplay and shallow characters, cause, a game can be linear, but it better have some damn good story and engaging characters to back it up.

I am just gonna point out that Final Fantasy 13 sucks overall. So don't wait for a good story, you won't get any,

Boy do I have to explain everything to you don't I? First off, it's a pun, based on the misspelling that Aeris made in the slums. Second Cloud was an insufferable Douchebag (tm) who did nothing but wave his big sword around, mope for Aeris when she died, and be a general dick. Let's not forget his attempts at being badass. Barrett was a stereotypical black man acting like a stereotypical black man with a FUCKING MACHINE GUN on his arm which is something a stereotypical black man would dream of. Tifa is nothing but fanservice in my eyes, and only exists to be made porn of, her role in the game could have been better and the fact that she sniffs Cloud's asshole to check if something smells rotten and he doesn't even give a fuck just makes me hate both characters more. Aeris was an alright character to be honest, though killing her off was supposed to make for a sentimental tear jerking scene, then I played FF4 which had more parting to the great beyond (and some which were better executed, see Tellah). Red XIII had ok development but at the end not much time was devoted to the character after the events in Cosmo Canyon. Cait Sith is Cait Sith, that should explain all. Yuffie grated on my nerves, and Vincent, oh god Vincent, another attempt at being badass, liek OH SHIT I CAN TURN INTO A DEMON THAT'S HOW BADASS I AM yet he was too emo about Lucrecia, so in the end I could not take him seriously. Cid was probably the only badass that was pulled off well, I bet if you turn the motherfucker into a monk he could suplex a fucking train. Now to the main bishi- ER VILLAIN. Sephiroth, my friend, you're a fucking pussy, all you do, is summon meteor, kill Aeris, transform into a giant ripoff of Kefka's final form for a boss fight, and die horribly at a single touch of Cloud's oversized Ultima Weapon, and be a HUUUUUUGE Mama's boy while your mother (JENOVA) did most of the horrid stuff in the game, also, you burned down Nibelheim after you discovered that you are the genetic spawn of some kind of monstrous bitch and the semen of some batshit insane doctor, woohoo, Kefka poisoned and killed and ENTIRE KINGDOM and killed Cyan's family and liege while you just waste a shit little town and look badass in some flames (NOW IS THAT YOUR ONLY NOTICEABLE TRAIT). I've got a lot more reasons to why this game are sick but for now i'm tired and i need to go INTO THE REACTOR in space to work at producing PETER STEELE POWER. GOOD DAY SIR!

TL;DR FF7 sucks after you've pretty much played everything else

You got this from ED didn't you and I just wanted too note one of the warring triad has more HP than kefka which I found amusing FF6 is just a shitload of characters each with a different sob story

Hell you fail again boi, I wrote this myself. also the warring triad do have more HP than kefka, BUT, you have a chance to recharge between battles, possibly change members and other stuff, the battle against the tower and ultimately facing up to kefka is nonstop and does not let up, until you face kefka in the final form, at this point if it's your first playthrough you should be either in the 40's or late 30's if you actually bothered to not grind, or ridiculously over leveled (60+). we're going to go with the former, you will be completely dried out if you didn't conserve, and it makes the battle... A little more harder.

As for the characters, they may have their own sob stories but most of them (at least 8-10 of the characters) had GOOD stories, which is something FF7 fell flat on it's face when attempting to do the same for only 7 characters.

And yea she said are instead of is I didn't catch that the first time I played it, I thought you meant sick as in you found it disgusting and repulsive and atleast all of Ff7 characters aren't completely useless
