I don't know if its just me, but I haven't eaten Gummy Bears in a long time, well last month I started and that is where my question begins. Last month I bought some gummy bears, both from different brands and I noticed that SOME taste good like how they are suppose to taste, but then there are some that taste like some kind acid like crap. Like it just tastes bad. Today I bought another bag with a different label and same thing is happening. I don't know if I am having bad luck and am buying shitty gummy bears or if something within the last 20 years happened to them that resulted in them tasting like shit.

Is anyone else experiencing that? I am disappoint in these candies.

I couldn't say, but I vaguely remember liking gummy bears and now I'm sure I don't.

You don't remember why you don't like them anymore though?

They seem a lot firmer nowadays. Or maybe it's just me.

I don't really mind though. I still love putting them on sundaes. Mmm.

They're cool on sundaes and frozen yogurt because you have the flavor of the frozen treat along with the gummy bears, but straight out of the packaging they have a pretty horrible taste. Don't know if it might just be me though.

I must have been a terrible gummy bear eater -- I didn't even know there were different flavors!

They are the Green and Yellow ones.
Its very rare to find banana flavour in any lollies so yellow is more likely lemon...

I have not had gummy bears in years but I never recall having a bad one, perhaps over the years they just got worse at making them. Did both brands have bad ones and if so which colours?

For me, they've been fine... Must be a knockoff brand you're eating if they taste horrible.

I remember loving those candy eggs and candy cola bottles when I was a kid, but I tried them again lately and yeah I notice that acidic taste you mention. It's more like plastic to me.

I wonder, do things taste that much different when you're older, or does candy just suck these days?

I don't usually buy those, but I don't see much difference between them. ofc I probably live in different country so we don't have same brands.

I avoided them and realized that it was the yellow and green that tasted like crap, but then I found some that tasted like crap that were red and white, which are the only available flavors in the bag I have atm.

Oh man, the Trollies Eggs were the best! They died though and were turned into rocks which are the same thing but just bigger.

Get the Haribo brand. I consider those to be original. I don't know if they are, but they taste good IMO.
