Well, the SNS team could make all of the decisions regarding what to play every Saturday night, but that wouldn't be fun at all! This thread's purpose is to allow people to be able to post suggestions of their own!

Pretty much, if your suggestion is juicy enough, the SNS team will go over the settings in a test server before actually hosting it as an event. If it works perfectly, then you might see it in a future SNS event!

If you want to leave a suggestion, then your post must abide by the following format:

WADs:
Skill:
Damagefactor:
Max lives:

Player/Client limit:
Based Settings:
Maplist:

DMFlags:
DMFlags2:
DMFlags3:
CompatFlags:
CompatFlags2:

If you're curious about Damagefactor, it is the amount of damage you take from monsters. The default value is 1, or 1 times the regular damage factor. Between 0 and 1 means less damage than normal, and above 1 means more damage. If you do not want to change the Damagefactor in your suggestion, just leave it at 1.

Post away!

Okay so the previous suggestion was highly masochistic :P However why not consider 'Eternal Doom'? Sure theirs a grosse incidence of irritance at the cryptic nature of the maps, yet when contrasted by their large scale it would be an ideal mapset for a high marine count, plenty of space for exploration with few cramped instances, I can't think of a more optimum opportunity to venture through such a massive set then with a robust player count.

Actually, I'm going to make an edit to this suggestion's thread.

I'm going to add Skill and Damagefactor here. So, the format should look like this:

WADs:
Skill:
Damagefactor:
Max lives:

Player/Client limit:
Based Settings:
Maplist:

DMFlags:
DMFlags2:
DMFlags3:
CompatFlags:
CompatFlags2:

I'm going to edit the OP so that it matches this format.

I suggest playing through doom2.wad with my silly sounds. You could also use another map wad that doesn't have sounds of its own, but they should be familiar maps so players wouldn't be experiencing maps for the first time with my silly sounds, which might taint their first impression of the maps.

WADs:
Skill: Ultra Violent
Damagefactor: 1

Player/Client limit: up to you

Should be the same as your plutonia server, VP. I don't know much about these flags, but they are similar so there shouldn't be a problem. (You know, there was supposed to be a TNT SNS in the future anyway, you said it, I think it's time! Besides, there aren't any TNT survival servers anyway [Grandvoid doesn't have it :( ])

If you want to do something for TNT, why not

It's a 33-level mapset of around the same overall quality as TNT IMO.

Why not CacoContaminationV11 or RGH_1_11_2 or the Zomb-8Release2

How about something for Ultimate Doom? I recommend the , with it's sequel . End1 replaces E1 and E2, End2 replaces E3. I wouldn't use the included sounds :\

If you want to include something for E4, perhaps run with the other 2? It's got some IMO irritating sound replacements but that's nothing a patch wad won't fix.
