Hello all it's been about 2-3 years since iv'e last posted on this forum and I'm glad to still see it up and running.

Anyway, I downloaded Master levels of doom off of Steam and it came into 20 different wad files (1 for each level) and I was wonder how I can combine these all into 1 wad file so I don't have to load up each Wad individually.

Thanks in advance.

Two ways of doing this that I can be bothered to explain:

A)
Open each map up, one at a time, in Doom Builder.

File > Save Map Into

Select your first WAD. Make sure that each map has a different mapslot (MAP01, MAP02, etc.) before saving this way. You can change the mapslot by:

Edit > Map Options

B)
Get and use the F7 menu option (Merge/Import). You'll have to reassign every map to a different mapslot again, but this method is generally faster.

I don't recommend doing that. Someone over doomworld uploaded a tool to merge all files into one wad.

Let me look it up...

EDIT: http://www.doomworld.com/idgames/index.php?id=16188 Here. Have fun.

Using a pk3 to merge multiple levels is easy. Just put them in the maps directory and the name of the file will be the map slot.

I've also released that will merge the master levels into a single wad.
