The first "Let's Play!" of Wrack!

Well, I'm very pleased to present the first LP of Wrack! It was done by , and he really does a great job of showing you what Wrack is all about. It's a playthrough of the 3 maps that initially come in the pre-order, so beware of spoilers!

I reached the last level with the final boss dr. ChubbyMcDonalds, he used to develop old school stuff until he didn't gave a shit anymore and let it die, joined the dark side and mixed quake with manga in order to dominate the world... how can I defeat him?

I love this guy's accent. That's the first thing I noticed. But all in all, this game looks really. fucking. good.

Hey carn something bothered me about the demo, the monster variation...how many monsters will there be in the end?
Also they should have more health for example in Doom your average monster takes 4-7 Shotgun shots (I assume that the wrack shotgun is about that strong)
seeing that everything is mowed down with 1-2 shots is kinda meh plus that purple monster with the homing ball even has a painstate after the first succesful shot.

Yes, things tend to die faster in Wrack, but the tradeoff is that the monsters are more deadly. Projectiles travel much faster, there are more of them, and they do a lot more damage. Stuns are pretty random but you've got a fairly good chance of stunning the regular arcs with the shotgun. Stuns are meant to be a more extreme version of a pain state.

More monsters on the way for sure! :) One of my favorites starts appearing in E1M4.

I'd hope the monsters are a bit more dynamic than that in the end though, because currently they're pretty much like Doom ones.

Which is walk towards target, do stuff, repeat.
And no fancy moves anywhere. :s

A good example would be that the spiders could do a dash towards you, or jump at you. (And potentially die horribly somewhere, lolpacifism)
