Hello there,

Since Alter is going to be away for a long time. He has asked me to look after this project for him. As you all know this is a invasion wad and it is already at Rev. 81.

If you were on the mapping team before when Alter was incharge off the wad then feel free to keep helping this wad out :)

I will be using the same rules for maps that Alterworldruler stated in the old thread.

I lost my map in a computer crash (again -_-) so I'm going to have to restart my map (but I only had 2 waves finished in that map so it not too big of a loss)

this is my second favorite Invasion WAD (and the first one was never finished) so i sure am glad to see the project live on :nod:

two things:

#1 i don't know if it was the server, but EVERY time me and four other guys (different each time) got to the final wave (boss battle, looked like a huge Abbadon) the whole thing froze and you had to reboot your PC :|

#2 are we getting "The Sentinel's Playground Testing ZeroInvasion", and if so, when? :P

Isn't this the Overlord from Realm667 site? If so use the version from the newest Delta Invasion, since the original monster will not work in Skulltag multiplayer. As far as I recall there's a problem with A_Jump going into a infinite loop.

I just recalled: I think what happened to the original Overlord was not a crash actually. The monster would just fade out (for "teleportation") and never ever fade in. Skulltag has a weird way of doing jumps, things that work offline will not work online but there's always a workaround possible. Usually "bad" jumps lead to weird state frames, for example monster/gun will "jump over" to incorrect state on the client side, but the server should still execute things properly.

I can take a look on that monster later. Maybe I'll figure something out.
