Metal Slug Doom

After getting into the Metal Slug games again, I wondered if I could pull off a mod of it for Doom, so I started fiddling with making the weapons, and found it was actually pretty possible! You can see what I've got so far here:

For now I'm just focusing on getting as many of the weapons and items completed as possible, once I do that, I'll probably make a level or two and make a deathmatch mod out of it. If I get that far, I'll start considering making it a single player/coop mod also.

This looks great!

However, some of the projectiles look a little funny such as the Iron Lizard because its facing sideways while travelling forward. Anyway, looking forward to the finished product.

ENDLESS possibilities!

alt fire for grenades/molotovs/rocks, changing the hud to show Marco/Tarma, adding hostages to rescue, mummies and mummy-dogs

i'm feeling so nostalgic now

Sounds like an Action Doom sort of result.

Which is good, because Action Doom 2 was Double Dragon instead.

If you plan doing something like Action Doom, that would be great! Can't wait for it! I can help with vehicle sprites, like tanks and helicopters if you need.

New stuff:
1. Ballin' new title screen
2. Grenades have been added
3. New angles for the Iron Lizard sprite
4. Flameshot has been added
5. Enemy Chaser has been added (although it's a bit hard to use at the moment, it only tracks your target if you fire with your crosshair directly on the enemy.)

I would say, this is something nice, im sure i wanna try this when it is released.

This is coming along very nicely, everything seems to be looking great. You've got the behavior of each weapon pretty much spot-on.
