Venom

Hello there, I'm announcing one of my projects I'm currently working on. This is another oldschool duel project, created for those who love to play on simple fast-paced maps and don't really like to play Newschool duels. This project will contain 10 brand new maps, some of these maps were created due to inspiration of other excisting maps (example, ssl2). I did use some elements from old maps but I've redone them completely and added my own style to it.

The maplist
Map01: Gateway (elements of D2Map01)
Map02: Outpost
Map03: Station
Map04: Terminal (elements of D6Map11)
Map05: The Corridor (elements of Mancer)
Map06: Courtyard (elements of Ssl2)
Map07: ###
Map08: ###
Map09: ###
Map10: Mainstay (elements of Shoot!)

Screenshots

R: It lacks detail, I want to see more detailed walls/floors/ceillings.
A: No, this will take away the oldschool feeling you should have on these maps.

R: Omg, you just copied some parts of old maps and put them in your own map.
A: No I did not, I did use some elements from old maps but I've redone them completely and added my own style to it.

Q: Can I make a map for this/be a tester?
A: No, I'm doing this project completely on my own.

Q: When will you be releasing this?
A: Not sure, but expect this to be released in Juli/August.

You're the one who made Rapid Fire, right?

Its gameplay was GREAT, I hope to see more of it now. :)

Yes I made RapidFire as well, first I thought of continueing it but I think its time for something new.

The project is currently on a small break, but expect to see some new screenshots soon!

EDIT:
I'm also going to change the project name.

We need more stuff like this, instead of stuff Voltlock terribly makes and then shits it out to the community to make it even more terrible.

Update:
This project still has 6 maps, one map has been replaced by another one due to lack of gameplay. I'll release a beta version when I've finished the 7th map, somewhere in August. I've also changed the project name.

Released the first beta, I'll take a break from the project now since I'm to busy with other stuff.
Have fun!
